Pastor Rob Grady was born and raised in Nitro, WV. After graduating from Marshall University he began his career as a chemist. Rob accepted God’s call of service in 2004 and has been the official Pastor of First Baptist Mason since 2006. He completed his Masters of Arts in Religion through Bethany Divinity College and Seminary. Rob recently left his career as a chemist to focus his attention fully upon his service to the Lord and ministry at First Baptist.
Pastor Rob believes the church should be focused upon Evangelizing the lost through both local and international missions, teaching the believers and praising God through authentic worship. These beliefs are best reflected in the mission statement of our church, "Saving, Serving, Soaring." Pastor Rob believes in preaching Biblical principals to guide the Christians in their walk with God. He also believes strongly in reclaiming our youth for God.
Pastor Rob has been married to his wife, Carla for eleven years. They have two wonderful sons, Evan & Elijah. He is a devoted husband and father who enjoys giving his wife her favorite flowers and just playing with his sons. Rob also enjoys the occasional round of golf and watching high school and college football. However, his primary focus is upon studying and teaching Gods Word.
